ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS & DURATION

For BACHELOR’S DEGREE

Admission requirement for Bachelor’s Program: Prospective students should have an A-level, High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

Pattern of Study: The Bachelor’s degree program can be study either open and distance learning, online, or research.

Time for Admission: Admission is at any time of the year. However, January, May, and September is obtainable.

Duration: The Bachelor’s degree program can be completed in 4 years (8 semesters).

Commencement of Program: The date of commencement is stated on the admission letter. Student once admitted can commence.

FOR MASTER’S DEGREE

Admission requirement for Master’s Program: Bachelor Degree or the equivalent of Bachelor’s degree.

Pattern of Study: The Master’s degree program can be study either open and distance learning, online, or research.

Time for Admission: Admission is at any time of the year. However, January, May, and September is obtainable.

Duration: The Master’s degree program can be completed in 1 year (3 semesters).

Commencement of Program: The date of commencement is stated on the admission letter. Student once admitted can commence.

FOR DOCTORAL DEGREE

Admission requirement for Doctoral Program: Master’s Degree.

Pattern of Study: The Doctoral degree program can be study either open and distance learning, online, or research.

Time for Admission: Admission is at any time of the year. However, January, May, and September is obtainable.

Duration: The Doctoral degree program can be completed in 3 years (6 semesters).

Commencement of Program: The date of commencement is stated on the admission letter. Student once admitted can commence.

APPLICATION FOR ADVANCED STANDING POLICIES

Advance standing is that admission status given to a prospective student who has met the minimal prerequisites for a particular course either by taking a course of similar nature from another institution or credit by examination. Prospective students attaining this admission status are exempted from taking the prerequisite courses; however, they must meet the minimal credit hour requirement for graduation at the particular level of graduation they have applied.

STUDENT AFFAIRS UNIT

The Student Affairs Unit is headed by a director. Student Affairs Unit is in charge of handling all grievances of the students and ensures that such grievances are resolved within a reasonable time. The principle of fairness and neutrality is the watchword in managing the resolution of grievances. Student Affairs unit is an intermediary between the Body of Students and the Management of the University.
